The Double Bearing Brushless 13.5kw, weighs 242 lbs.
The Double Bearing Brushless 24kw , weighs 286 lbs.
You Must Add Your Prime Mover (motor) to these alternators and
the formula for torque is: kw/rpm*9550 = torque in NM*.736 = torque in ft lbs.
Starting torque is < 1/10 the full load torque.

The Double Bearing Brushless 24kw , weighs 286 lbs.
You Must Add Your Prime Mover (motor) to these alternators and
the formula for torque is: kw/rpm*9550 = torque in NM*.736 = torque in ft lbs.

Best way to determine what Horse Power engine that will be required,
for a diesel 1800 rpm engine is , to take the wattage rating of the generator and
divide that by 700
Example: 8200/700 =11.71 hp or you need a 12hp engine
Conversly For hi speed gas engines and diesel coupled to generator units operating at 3600 rpm , the rule of thumb is 2 HP per kw.
